Quantum Matter 2022, Barcelona

The ICN2 institute, a CSIC institute member of QTEP, has organized the Quantum Matter 2022 conference, in collaboration with QTEP, DIPC and other sponsoring institutions.
The conference, which took place in Barcelona, from June 21 till June 23, aimed at gathering the various communities engaged in the science and technologies of quantum information and quantum matter, to foster the incubation of new ideas & collaborations at the forefront of quantum technologies, emerging quantum materials and novel generations of quantum communication protocols, quantum sensing and quantum simulation.
The event was a real success, with an impressive panel of plenary and keynote speakers, over 400 participants and 15 sponsoring companies. In this event, Juan José García Ripoll presented the QTEP Platform, as part of a session on European and national quantum strategies, and we also collaborated in the organization of a focused workshop on semiconductor quantum technologies.
Next edition of the conference will take place in June 2023, in Madrid, locally organized by QTEP in collaboration with the PhantomsNet Foundation.
