The European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC) has celebrated its Spring 2023 Plenary Meeting, hosted by AMETIC in Madrid on May 22nd - 23rd.
This event brings together the largest contingent of pan-European quantum companies and quantum research organisations to hear from European and international leaders, and network as a community.

In Madrid, QuIC will welcome 7 distinguished guests and keynote speakers, including Carme Artigas (Secretary of State for Digitization and Artificial Intelligence for the Government of Spain), Lina Gálvez Muñoz (Member of the European Parliament), Gustav Kalbe (European Commission), and Shunsuke Okada (Q-STAR).
CSIC was represented on the stage by Benito Alén who gave a pitch about g2-Zero's plug and play single photon sources, a key component at the base of the quantum communications supply chain.

Since January 2022, g2-Zero is scaling up proprietary quantum device designs in collaboration with IMN-CSIC under CSIC license agreement.
IMN-CSIC participation in QTEP+, led by Benito Alén, aims to establish a Pilot Line for Scalable Quantum Photonic Devices where companies like g2-Zero can elevate the TRL of their prototypes.
